KUALA TERENGGANU: State exco members and senior officers started using their new Mercedes-Benz E200 Kompressor cars today.
The state bought 14 of the luxury cars for RM3.43mil to replace the Proton Perdana V6 Executive cars that had been purchased in 2004.

My comments:
1) Why buy now? They should fired the political advisor of buying now cos so much controversy. Timing is wrong.
2) Buy now because of Diversification. To divert the attention of rakyat. To prove gomen is doing something by creating a PROBLEM.
3) Our 4 years of Perdana V6 maintenance cost RM 50,000 within 36 months. R u sure that Merc will not cost as much as that????
4) Be the gomen car technicians, You just have to touch the car and they will ask you to issue a receipt of RM 5000.
5) Gomen also don't trust Buatan Malaysia, What about RAKYAT?
6) I will accept their buying if they can come out a detail comparison between a V6 perdana and a Merz. How to compare an apple and a durian????
