KUALA TERENGGANU: It will be a three-cornered fight for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat with three candidates having filed their papers on nomination day on Tuesday.

They are Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh,



PAS candidate Abdul Mohd Wahid Endut


and independent Azharudin Mamat alias Adam, a 46-year-old businessman.

Ballots will be cast on Jan 17.

There are 80,229 voters in the constituency, of whom 2,036 are postal voters.

The by-election is being held following the sudden death of Barisan’s Datuk Razali Ismail on Nov 28.
