Student who socked academic surrenders to police

The former New Era College student who left the college's senate chairperson Dr Yap Sin Tian with a bloodied face on Sunday has surrendered to the police.
According to Sin Chew Online, Lim Ken Zhi turned himself in at the Kajang police district headquarters at 3pm.
On Sunday, Lim, who holds a diploma in drama studies, had punched Yap in the face during a convocation ceremony, leaving the latter with a fractured cheekbone.
