Vacuum Cleaner - what is BEST?

My house vaccum cleaner just spoilt. So I have to survey for a new vaccum cleaner. I am still considering between Samsung Model SC4170 (RM 228, Harvey Norman)

and Electrolux Ingineous.(RM 299, Harvey Norman).

Below is some research from the net:

General Overview of Some Models on the Market

Airway Well-made older design canister vacuum with or without powerhead generally sold door to door. Efficient bag location and design keeps motor clean and reduces dust in return air. High Performance motors used.

Bissell Generally inexpensive upright vacuums . Some Good High filtration models available.Stuff that breaks that can be disappointingly premature. Cheap models are noisy. But so aren't they all.

Dirt Devil Generally inexpensive uprights and canisters. Good motors but stuff breaks that could have been made better. Hence the price point. Their Bagless machines filter very well. And leave little to wipe out or brush off during the dust dumping procedure. Bagged machine filter well if you purchase the MicroFresh filters and bags. That's MICRO-FRESH! Cost not for the weak at heart. But worth it.

Electrolux Now owned by Aerus LLC . Well made canister vacuum with powerhead. I think the older motors were better. But you get your monies worth with the current machines. Oreck Good Marketing Program but, Don't fall for the bowling ball thing. That's the canister anyway. (Ever heard of SUBLIMINAL TRANSFERANCE) The upright is best for surface dirt and animal hair.
