Ebworx Bhd's pre-tax profit for financial year ended Dec 31, 2011 rose to RM11.28 million from RM4.87 million in the same period of 2010. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the regional financial solutions specialist said its revenue increased to RM51.81 million from RM32.92 million previously. "The improvements were achieved mainly due to new projects secured from new reference sites as well as various enhancement project orders by our clients to enhance and expand their banking systems," it said. It said during the year, the group continued its footprint into the region as part of the regionalisation of its banking clients. For the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2011, its pre-tax profit rose to RM2.53 million from RM1.02 million in the same quarter of 2010.
