IGB won to build 8 billion taipei tower.

PETALING JAYA (Oct 30): A multinational consortium led by IGB CORPORATION BHD [] has won the bid to build Taipei’s Twin Towers with total investment of about NT$80 billion (RM8.3 billion), according to news reports in Taiwan.

The project, sited at Taipei's Main Railway Station, is Taiwan's biggest urban development project.

Globetronics 3Q net profit jumps 84% to RM14.2m

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30) : Semiconductor components maker Globetronics TECHNOLOGY [] Bhd net profit for the third quarter ended jumped 84% to RM14.2 million from RM7.7 million a year earlier, due mainly to higher volume loading from most of its customers, better product mix and economy of scale. 

The group's revenue for quarter under review was RM78.3 million, an increase of 12.7% from the preceding quarter of RM69.5 million,

PETALING JAYA (Oct 30): Bursa Malaysia announced today (Tuesday) that it has lifted TH Heavy Engineering Bhd from the PN17 classification after the company has regularised its financial condition.

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): Hong Leong Group's Tower Real Estate Investment Trust's (Tower REIT) third quarter (3Q) net profit rose 47% from a year earlier on higher revenue and derivative fair value gains.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, Tower REIT said net profit came to RM9.61 million in the 3Q ended September 30 compared to RM6.53 million previously. Revenue climbed 5% to RM14.03 million from RM13.31 million.
