Required Documents:

1. PRIVATE VEHICLE (Individual Privae Vehicle)
1. 2 copies of Checklist Form TM-1 (Pind.1/2012); TM-2
2. 2 copies of form JPJK3 that has been completed and signed by the new owner; Borang JPJ K3A
3. Original Vehicle Endorsement Certificate (JPJK2);
4. Copy of registered owner's and new owner's identification documents using TM-AB (if not present during submission of application) * for individual and sole proprietor company category only; TM-AB  
5. Original and copy of identification document of representative (if application is submitted by representative).
6. Letter/stub of ownership claim cancellation by the registered owner (other than e-Hakmilik);
7. A valid Ownership Transfer Inspection Report by PUSPAKOM (www.puspakom.com.my) (other than motorcycles)

17. How is the ownership transfer conducted if the seller and buyer are at two different locations? 
The ownership transfer starts with the seller who must enter the vehicle’s details like:

• Vehicle’s Registration Number
• Chassis Number
• Engine Number

Then the seller has to complete the buyer’s details by entering his/her Identification number and phone number. Other particulars of the buyer’s information details will be encoded automatically through the 1MID system.
Once the transaction is completed by the seller, an email notification will be sent to the buyer to proceed with the transaction.
** NOTE: If the seller or the buyer has not registered as 1MID user, the ownership transfer cannot be conducted. Please proceed to register with 1MID first before proceeding.

18. What will happen if the buyer does not proceed with the transaction once he has received the email notification?
The application will be terminated automatically if there is no transaction response from the buyer within SEVEN (7) days from the email notification sent to the buyer.

19. Who will make the payment?
Once the buyer receives the email notification, the buyer may continue with the transaction and make the payment.

20. How much is the payment for the Ownership Transfer?
The payment levied as follows:

Permanent Ownership Transfer	RM100.00
e-Services Charge	RM2.75
Total Charged	RM102.75

However, if the vehicle owner has settled the bank loan but does not update to cancel the bank ownership, an additional charge will be levied as follows:

Updating ownership at FIS fee	RM50.00
e-Services Charge #1	RM2.75
Permanent Ownership Transfer	RM100.00
e-Services Charge #2	RM2.75
Total Charged	RM155.50

For motorcycles, the payment levied as follows:

Permanent Ownership Transfer	RM3.00
e-Services Charge	RM2.75
Total Charged	RM5.75

If the vehicle owner has settled the bank loan but does not update to cancel the bank ownership, an additional charge will be levied as follows:

e-Services Charge #1	RM2.75
Permanent Ownership Transfer	RM3.00
