KUALA LUMPUR: AIRASIA BHD [] is giving away one million free seats to over 70 destinations including China, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.
The low-cost acarrier said on Tuesday, Nov 10, the free-seats promotion would be from Nov 11 to 15 (booking period) for the travel period from May 1 to Oct 30 2010.
AirAsia's regional head - commercial, Kathleen Tan said, "To usher in 2010, this is the biggest and most exciting promotion of the year. With no fuel surcharge, and no administration fee, it's a real deal, offering fantastic value to our guests".
Tan said, during an economic slowdown, people would seek cheaper travel options that offer them better value for money, adding there was no better option than flying with AirAsia for free.
"With this offer, guests can plan their holidays ahead to enjoy great bargains and take this opportunity to be creative and map their holiday routing via AirAsia's 10 hubs (Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Bangkok, Phuket, Bandung, Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali, Penang and Johor) across our network at ultra low fares," she said.
