WCT gets RM363m new LCCT contract

KUALA LUMPUR: WCT BHD [] has accepted a contract from Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd valued at RM363 million for the proposed building of a new low-cost terminal at the KL International Airport.

WCT said on Wednesday, Dec 2 the scope of works under the contract comprises of site preparation, earthworks and main drainage which are expected to be completed on Jan 1, 2011.

"The contract is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of WCT Group for the current financial year ending Dec 31, 2009 but is expected to contribute positively to the group's future earnings and net assets," it said.
