IJM, Jaks jointly wins RM269m water pipe job

IJM Corp, a Malaysian construction group, said its joint venture with Jaks Resources Bhd won a RM268.5 million contract to build water pipelines for the Pahang-Selangor Raw Water Transfer Project. The contract involves the building of mild steel pipes with a total length of 24 kilometers, two access roads and a bridge, the company said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur today. -- Bloomberg
