Anwar Ibrahim says Pakatan Rakyat leaders will be attending the Bersih 2.0 rally at Stadium Merdeka, despite the police ban on 91 individuals.
In response to a tweet asking if they were coming to the capital city Kuala Lumpur for the event, the opposition leader (left) had replied, “Pakatan Rakyat leaders will attend”.

Yesterday police issued a list of people who were to be banned from entering the city, including Pakatan Rakyat leaders such as Anwar Ibrahim, PAS spiritual adviser Nik Aziz Nik Mat and deputy-president Mohamad Sabu and DAP parliamentarian Lim Kit Siang.
Around noon, Anwar's daughter and Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar also reported that she had been served a restriction order.
"Three policemen are at the house serving a restriction order. KL is now 'Kuala Curfew,'" she said in a tweet.
Mahfuz refused to sign restriction order
Meanwhile PAS vice president Mahfuz Omar (right) refused to sign the restriction order that the police served on him, astounded that he cannot even go to work at the PAS headquarters in Jalan Raja Laut.
“I didn't sign as it is absurd, in fact I refuse to accept the restriction," Harakahdaily today reported him saying.
“I don't mind if I am disallowed to go any other places, but to my office?” quipped the Pokok Sena MP, adding the cops later dropped the restriction order into his post box.

DAP Selangor chief Teresa Kok, on the other hand, wondered if she is now under house arrest since she lives and works in Kuala Lumpur.
Among those restricted from crossing city boundaries from 8am to 6pm tomorrow is Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, who just returned from a peace mission to break the Israel blockade on the Gaza strip.
"Just landed in KL after trying to break Israeli blockade of Gaza only to find that I've been blockaded from KL. Excuse me if I say WTF?" he asked incredulously yesterday.
The Rembau parliamentarian today announced that Umno Youth's counter rally, dubbed the Patriot rally, will go on as planned even though it was deemed illegal by de facto Law Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz.

List taken lightly
Many on the list appear to not take the ban too seriously, tweeting tongue-in-cheek responses immediately after the news broke.
DAP Kampung Tunku assemblyperson Lau Weng San, for example, lamented online that his plans to make quick bucks selling bottled water had been thwarted.
Bersih 2.0 steering committee member Haris Ibrahim and PKR leader Badrul Hisham Shaharin (better known as Che'gubard) instead protested that they have been put in the same category as controversial PKR-defector and Kulim Bandar Bharu MP Zulkilfi Noordin, who made it on the list despite his acrimonious relationship with the NGO coalition's chief Ambiga Sreenevasan.
"I object to being included in the order of court, on the grounds that they have included frog-face Zul Noordin under the Bersih list," Haris (left) tweeted.
Other names which raised eyebrows include Khalid Yunus, former BN deputy minister and Jempol MP, and Perkasa commissioners Mohd Noor Nordin Abdullah, Sibri Ismail and Mohd Lukman Muda.
Some on the list are currently overseas, including Kelantan MB Nik Aziz Nik Mat, while others like PSM's Choo Chon Kai and M Sarasvathy are behind bars under the Emergency Ordinance.
The police maintain that the list was drawn up based on investigations.
Individuals who defy the restriction order risk six months' jail or up to RM2,000 fine or both.
