Hunting for ideal property for investment is not an easy task.
I have been hunting for an ideal property for the past 4 years but I couldn't find any suitable one.
Let’s look at some statistic.
According to the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH), The national house price index rose 7.29% during the year to end-Q3 2012 (5.86% inflation-adjusted), the lowest year-on-year increase since Q2 2010.
This show that property has slow down but price of property has gone up.
So what to look for in an investment property?
There are 4 main criteria which are
1) Location – you can start your search at some property website for house for sale and compare the location for demand
2) Type – whether commercial or residential property
3) Rental returns – find out the rate of rental at the property that you plan to invest
4) Cash flow - aim for positive cash flow
I still hope to find an ideal property for investment in this year 2013.
