PUTRAJAYA (Sept 4): Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said people should make adjustments in their finances in view of the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices.
WHAT ADJUSTMENTS I NEED TO MAKE SOME MORE??
CYCLE TO OFFICE, I AM USING PROTON ISWARA nia
I EAT MIX RICE EVERYDAY, about RM 4 per plate.
BREAKFAST - 3 SLICES OF MASSIMO BREAD per day, 1 Massimo Bread RM 2.10, can last for 4 days
MILO - no more drinking, now drink KLASsNO coffee, promotion RM 8
APA LAGI MAU ADJUST????
The former Prime Minister however pointed out that the increase was a mere 20 sen per litre compared to paying RM7 per litre in England.
HOW CAN HE COMPARE LIKE THAT?????
POUND IS 5X stronger than our currency.
MYR/GBP = 5.12647
If we include the conversion, we are PAYING RM 10 per litre in England but actual only RM 7
"Maybe, initially people would feel the pinch," he told reporters after attending a press conference on the Langkawi International Mountain Challenge 2013 here this afternoon.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has announced a 20 sen price increase for a litre of RON95 petrol and a litre of diesel effective Tuesday as part of the government's subsidy rationalisation measure.
