I went to a Hi-Tea Session with Milan Doshi about the Malaysia property outlook in 2015.
It was hosted at Garden Cafe, Mid valley on Saturday 13th December 2014 at 3pm organized by Wealth Mastery Academy.
Below are some of the questions we bloggers asked him:
Q1: How will property investment fair in 2015?
2015 will be a challenging year, 3 factors to consider:
1) GST - nobody knows the impact of GST on property, a lot of hidden costs, nearest example is Singapore
2) Bank loan - more difficult to get, this will cool down the market
3) Supply more than demand - Below 500k property will have more demand than supply but developer not so keen on this instead more than 500k property supply will increase
Q2: Any property bubble in 2015?
I have bought 7 properties in 2014, where??? I will share it when I buy enough. (grin)
Q3: Where to invest?
Invest where you know best, you have to Maximize the Returns while you Minimize Risk.
Q4: What to invest for year 2015?
Try to avoid buying from developer since they already factor in the GST. If can, try to find from AUCTION properties but you need to do some background work before going to bid for the auction or any subsale unit.
