Bumper dividend payout. BToto declared a 4th interim dividend of 11 sen/share,
bringing full-year recurring gross dividend to 29 sen/share, which was marginally below our full-year forecast of 32 sen/share. Nevertheless this still represented a 77.1% net payout ratio, above management’s guided 75% minimum payout policy. Separately, BToto has announced:
1) the distribution of 89.7m treasury shares as special dividend on the basis of 1 treasury share for every 14 existing Btoto shares held, which is equivalent to roughly 31 sen/share based on Btoto’s current share price of RM4.96/share; and
2) 19.0 sen/share 1st interim dividend in respect of FY10 paid in advance. Combined with its 4th interim dividend, this would reflect a highly attractive gross recurring + special dividend yield of 12.2% for 4QFY09 period alone and 15.8% for the full year.
