Yes, Guan Eng you are the biggest manipulator of the system at least in Penang against those Kg Buah Pala residents.
You had 17 months to challenge the fraudulent transaction, yet you kept quite with false promises and false hopes to the residents. Not until early July, this year has this turn into a national issue and the more truth is unveiled, more it shows how you have manipulated them even on August 4, 2009.
You want an example, sure on “Penang 08/07/2009 (Bernama): The Penang state government will make an application to the courts to use Section 116 (1)(D) of the National Land Code to prevent developers from demolishing the houses of villagers in Kampung Buah Pala here, said Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. He said under the section anyone given land had to have written permission from the state government before buildings on the land can be demolished.”
Then on August 3- Star – George Town: The state government will file an application at the High Court Tuesday to invoke Section 116 (1)(d) of the National Land Code to prevent the demolition of houses in Kampung Buah Pala. Seri Delima assemblyman R. S. N. Rayer said they had initially wanted to file in the application Monday but North-east district officer Azizi Zakaria had yet to sign the documents. “We can only file them once Azizi signs the documents. I have been in the High Court until 4.30pm so we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to file it,” he said when met at the High Court Tuesday. Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s political secretary Ng Wei Aik said the state had appointed Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh and Rayer to file the application.
After almost one month you still have not filed an application. So it’s the fault of a civil servant now, is it? Anyway, did you ever file for that order? Was Rayer and Karpal in court on August 4, 2009 to file the application, you tell me or just another media spin?
What all this proves is you are just another manipulator just like the previous cruel BN regime, but at least in their exco minutes released, they were adamant that the residents needs to be consulted and adequately compensated before the land transfer is initiated. Was the residents consulted before you transferred the title more than 17 months ago? No you keep in until the last moment and play the good boy to your blinded supporters and shaddy excuses for your inaction whereas, the residents hang by the thread not knowing whether they have a roof over their head today or tomorrow.
What are you gaining by this Guan Eng, are you so worried that you have collected the development funds for the new DAP HQ and you cannot antagonize those patrons from PCCC who will swing either way. Money cannot buy people’s life or the truth. That is only applicable to BN not from your party that we elected to make the change.
Here we are talking about people who have rightful cause for possession of the land and you are manipulating everything without disclosing the truth. See the drama on August 4, 2009, the latest Indian champion Prof Ramasamy appears, then goes into the police van discuss with the resident representative and the whole demolishment is postponed. What a drama!!! . Are you telling me that you could not have spoken to those developers earlier but rather intimidate the residents, then play the good boy for the media spin what a good job you have done for the day. You and your team are bloody transparent for the manipulation that is carried out.
You and your team rather put those families through trauma and anxiety to achieve your own means without any real concern for them. You are indeed a master manipulator.
I am not done with you. Why do you keep avoiding the questions raised on the legal avenues that can provide a recourse for the residents? The latest on “Tanah yang diberi milik tidak boleh dipindah milik, cagar, pajak, pajakan kecil atau sebarang bentuk urusniaga tanpa kebenaran kerajaan negeri”
When you were questioned on this, you swayed and said that your state legal adviser is against it. We all know now how screwed up your state advisor is and probably that is why you choose Rayer and Karpal attempted or still attempting effort to file the application invoke Section 116 (1)(d) of the National Land Code to prevent the demolition of houses in Kampung Buah Pala.
Why does your state legal advisor against it, when it is clearly stated in the title. Is this another manipulation and shifting of the blame? No Guan Eng, you know that Helen Brown donated the land under Housing Trust, vested with the Crown for the purpose of social housing for her plantation workers with proof of documentation, yet you turn the blind eye to this. It is unacceptable. Why there are no actions to establish this to safeguard those residents, you are accountable Guan Eng, whether you like it or not.
I am sure there are many lands and people in Malaysia who had been cheated and squandered by the UMNO led BN government. That was history. Now with you in power in Penang we expect a change not another manipulator singing the same song blaming everything and anything under the sun besides.
Guan Eng, stop acting like you are doing those residents a favour with your manipulation, it is them who are doing you a favour to enlighten the truth for you to act just and fair for a citizen. Kg Buah Pala residents may lose their rightful ownership for your manipulation, but trust me this will haunt your conscience forever.
