KUALA LUMPUR: The MMC CORPORATION BHD []-GAMUDA BHD [] joint venture has received a letter of award from Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd (SPNB) to carry out the Klang Valley mass rapid transit (MRT) project.
MMC said on Monday, Jan 31, the scope, terms and conditions of the appointment will be subject to the finalised and executed project agreement between the government and SPNB.
The appointment was also subject to the execution of a comprehensive and definitive agreement between the JV partners and SPNB.
The consortium, a 50:50 JV, was appointed the project delivery partner (PDP) for the project.
