If you have niece/ nephew or relatives who are studying , just get them to sign up for a DIGI/ Hotlink student prepaid sim card. It is definitely a lot cheaper.
hotlink prepaid now impose a credit active rule. if its not active regardless of whether you got a hotlink pass still valid , the pass will also be not usable. meaning you have to keep topping up credit for next 30 days to keep your credit active to use the pass you just bought. i'm porting out of hotlink prepaid soon due to this greedy feature
