Talam up 5pc on asset sales plan
TALAM Corp, a Malaysian builder, rose to its highest level in six weeks in Kuala Lumpur trading after saying it will ask the Malaysian stock exchange to remove it from the bourse's list of ailing companies when it completes an asset sales plan. The stock rose 4.8 per cent to 11 sen at 9.04 am Malaysia time, set for its highest close since November 18. - Bloomberg
