Tanjung Offshore jumps most in 8 months
Tanjung Offshore Bhd, a Malaysian oil and gas services provider, jumped the most in eight months in Kuala Lumpur trading after saying it won a RM70 million contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd. The stock climbed 10 per cent to RM1.18 at 9:30 am Malaysian time, set for its steepest gain since April 30. -- Bloomberg

Kurnia Asia at lowest in 3 months
Kurnia Asia Bhd, Malaysia's largest general insurer, fell to its lowest level in three months in Kuala Lumpur trading following a report that K.H. Chia had tendered his resignation as chief executive officer of Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Bhd. The stock fell 1.5 per cent to 66.5 sen at 9:13 am Malaysian time, set for its lowest close since October 7. -- Bloomberg
