TatGiap acquires 60pc stake in Buminox
Tatt Giap Group Bhd (TatGiap) has acquired a 60 per cent stake in Buminox Sdn Bhd for a total cash consideration of RM3.6 million. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, it said upon completion of the proposed acquisition, Buminox shall be a 60 per cent subsidiary of TatGiap. "The cost for the proposed acquisition will be funded internally," it added. Buminox is involved in the exploration, extraction, processing and marketing of iron ore and the company has been granted an exclusive right to carry out ore mining operations in Rompin, Pahang. -- Bernama
