Toll reduction for Cheras-Kajang highway

KAJANG (March 1, 2012): It's good news for motorists using the Cheras-Kajang highway - starting midnight today, the RM1 Batu 9 toll for those headed to Kuala Lumpur and the 90 sen Batu 11 toll heading to Kajang have been abolished.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, who made the announcement today, said this is a 50% reduction of toll charges for the highway users as they would only have to pay RM1.90 for a return trip.
"This will benefit the 120,000 highway users," said Najib at the ground-breaking ceremony of the SJK(C) Bandar Sungai Long.
