No wonder HWGB move lehhhhhh...

Ho Wah Genting Bhd today proposed to acquire 51 per cent stake in Myled Opto Technology Sdn Bhd from three individuals, for RM1 million, cash. If the deal goes through, Myled Opto would become Ho Wah Genting's subsidiary. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the group said the individuals involved were Md Azuli Adnan, Amar Foo Abdullah and Lai Kin Shin. Myled Opto's business principally is in the manufacturing of solid state lightings (SSL) and light-emitting diodes (LED) lightings, and it operates from a factory in Melaka. Ho Wah said the acquisition would strengthen its existing LED lighting brand marketing, delivery schedule of LED components and installation delivery of LED lighting to customers. Product pricing would also remain competitive, it added. -- Bernama
